Trunks Through Time

Trunks Through Time is a traveling exhibit used as a teaching tool for elementary age children, to teach them about the history of the railroad and the diverse ethnic backgrounds of the  people who made it possible.

I constructed the Pullman Porter’s uniform based off of images of porters from the 1950’s, using a navy wool, altering a civil-war uniform pattern, and 7/8” buttons corresponding with the original size.
